William Shatner is a rorschach for the universe. A&E Television Network wanted a unique viral web game to promote the opening season of his talk show, Raw Nerve—named because the interviews get pretty fiery (Shatner being Shatner). The game was featured on the A&E Bio website.

Shatner interviews guests on the live show, but something different was needed to make a game of it. I created the concept of a “mystery guest” format with two modes of play. You can play a regular game against the clock, trying to guess each mystery guest from a database of celebrities and clues to their identity. Or you can create your personal custom version of the game, featuring yourself or someone you know. Upload a photo, add loads of embarrassing information for Shatner to “ask,” and share the game for your friends to play. The more awkward, the better. Shatner would approve.
