Simple makes a
bold statement
I made this promotional video for Rebel Interactive (now Rebellion Group). As part of their interview process, they ask applicants to make a 30-second video telling why they are “rebels.” To avoid a selfie-stick video talking to the camera, I quickly sketched out this fast-paced animation featuring historical/cultural figures with whom I share absurdly trivial similarities. It’s humorous, self-deprecating, and showcases both my motion graphic chops and my sound design. The audio is composed of multiple clips looped and overlaid to create an original score. This allows programmatic control of the track to fit the motion.
